The MyPillow guy is spending big money on unhinged pro-Trump Facebook ads
The ads claim that he's been "successfully canceled."
In the two weeks since Facebook reactivated political advertising, the Trump-supporting extremist MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell spent $131,687 on bizarre Facebook ads capitalizing on his relationship to the disgraced former President.
Lindell’s MyPillow is partnering with a right-wing media site, The RFAngle, to target Trump supporters with ads in hopes they’ll buy some pillows.
The ads claim that Mike Lindell is being “canceled” by Democrats because he supports Trump, and they urge Facebook users to buy more MyPillows in order to “stand with Mike Lindell.” OK Mike. 😑
This is just another example of how pro-Trump grifters use Facebook advertising to bring in millions of dollars. In addition to the many “scam PACs” out there, Facebook pages like Proud Patriots, I Love My Freedom, and Republican Dogs spend millions of dollars a year peddling knock-off Trump merch, or use other right-wing messaging to rip off Facebook users, many of whom are senior citizens.
